Course Description & Pricing

The Tele-ChildLife© Virtual Child Life Interventions course includes a detailed presentation by Kia Ferrer, MS, CCLS, GC-C, wherein she presents practical ways to adapt common child life interventions to the virtual environment through CCLS’ use of a digital screen at work or at home. Her presentation is accompanied by additional resources and the (optional) opportunity to engage in a collaborative discussion intended to foster individual and group reflection on virtual interventions. Participants will learn how to transfer child life material to virtual platforms like screen-sharing, digital mindfulness activities, and other interactive applications to support children and families experiencing adverse life events. There will be a brief quiz provided for those who wish to earn 2.0 PDUs in the Performance Domain of Intervention.
